Studio Pierrot, the animation force behind the original Naruto anime and its sequel series Naruto: Shippuden, has previously confirmed it was overseeing the project, which is part of the anime’s 20th-anniversary celebration. No details regarding the story for each episode have been revealed, and it remains unclear which beloved characters from the original run will return. Tickets are set to go on sale starting 18 July. The new episodes will begin airing in Japan on 3 September, with the first of the four getting a live screening at Makuhari Messe event hall in Chiba on the same day.
